Kids' Cancer Buzz-Off

When I was 7 years old, a classmate of mine had recently overcome cancer. To show support, I joined a team that would shave their heads to raise money for cancer research. The following year, my grandmother started chemotherapy, and the haircut became a tradition.  

The Kids' Cancer Buzz-off has introduced me to countless courageous men and women who are willing to sacrifice their hair for a great cause. This year will be my 15th consecutive year participating, and I hope to continue the tradition for as long as my hair is able to grow back.
